Gara Auto Nord in Chișinău is one of the main passenger road transport hubs of the Republic of Moldova. Located at 2/1 Calea Moșilor Street, it connects the capital with many towns and villages across the country, especially in the north, as well as with international destinations.
Our history
The company “Gara Nord” was founded in 2004 on the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, to ease the crowding at the Central Bus Station and to improve the organisation of passenger transport. The first stage of the bus station opened to passengers in February 2005, when part of the Central Station's directions moved here.
Over the years the station's infrastructure has grown to meet the needs of travellers and carriers. In 2014 a new stage of expansion began, with new platforms built and more of the grounds laid out. Through its work, Gara Nord helps connect towns and villages and organise journeys for work, study, visits and tourism.
